Ridge cap, also called color-coated steel ridge roofing sheets, ridge covers, or ridge tiles, are components specifically designed to cover the longitudinal joints (ridges) of color-coated steel roofing sheets. Like a "hat" for the roof, its main function is to seal the gap formed at the highest point of two pitched roof sections, preventing rainwater, dust, insects, and birds from entering, while also serving a decorative and reinforcing purpose.

Its base material is color-coated steel sheet (i.e., color-coated steel plate), which is roll-formed and possesses the same durability and color as the roofing color-coated steel sheet.
